How long will my custom leather journal cover take to arrive?

Made to order in Malaysia — 8 business days to craft, 3–5 days to ship.

Every lore journal cover is handmade to order in Malaysia. Production takes up to 8 business days to ensure every detail is perfect.

Shipping within West Malaysia usually takes 3–5 business days.

Can you help me choose colors and personalize my journal?

Yes — we offer limited personalization calls to guide you through color matching.

We know it can be tricky to match leather colors, elastic cords, grommets, and charms.

We offer limited personalization call slots where we sit with you virtually and help you make your choices in real time.

This ensures your journal feels uniquely yours. Book your session by emailing us.

What is your return and exchange policy?

No returns or exchanges unless we make an error.

Because every journal cover is made to order, we do not accept returns or exchanges unless there is an obvious error — for example:

Wrong color
Misspelled text
Incorrect grommet
Missing item
Incorrect size

We follow exactly what you chose and typed in your order summary, so please check your selections (spellings, colors, grommet choice) carefully before checkout.

Each journal is made from natural vegetable-tanned leather. Slight variations in grain, color tone, and texture are normal and part of what makes your cover one of a kind. These are not considered defects.

If we made an error on our side, we will take full responsibility and make it right.

How do I care for my leather journal cover?

Keep dry, condition occasionally, and expect it to soften within a week.

Your cover is crafted from Walpier Buttero Italian vegetable-tanned leather — a premium, stiff leather chosen for its durability and protective feel.

When you first receive it, the leather may feel stiff, but this is intentional to ensure it lasts and protects your inserts. Within about a week of use, it will soften and mold to your hands, becoming more comfortable.

Over time, your leather will develop a patina — a natural darkening and sheen that reflects your journey. This is considered a desirable and beautiful part of leather aging.

Leather Care Tips:

Keep away from prolonged water exposure.
Wipe gently with a soft dry cloth if dusty.
Apply leather conditioner every few months to keep it supple.
Store flat and away from direct sunlight when not in use.

Does the cover come with a notebook inside?

No, cover only — but notebook inserts are available in our shop.

Our A6 journal covers are sold as covers only so you can use your favorite notebook.

If you’d like a matching insert, simply add one to your cart from our shop before checkout.

Do you ship internationally?

Malaysia shipping only (for now) — email us for international requests.

We currently ship within Malaysia (West & East).

For international orders, email us — we may be able to arrange a custom shipment depending on your location.
